London - NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, has said it will continue its military operations in Libya. While the threat to civilians Libya continues.

NATO Chief in a conference in London said that pockets of resistance still exist despite the overthrow of the Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, has occurred since last month after a rebellion occurred during the six months.

"We are ready to resume operations kselama we needed," he said as quoted by Reuters on Tuesday (09/13/2011). Asmussen said it did not yet know about the existence of Gaddafi. But it was not a factor in deciding on future operations.

"I do not know about the existence of Gaddafi. Perhaps, arrest is not an element in whether we decide to continue operations (in Libya) or not," he said.

While the forces loyal to Gaddafi continues against armed supporters of the National Council of Transition Libya.
