Van Basten Favorites Handle Hamburg

After the sacking of Michael Oenning from his post as coach of Hamburg SV, now the name of Marco Van Basten sticking a favorite candidate to fill the position. Former architect of the Dutch national team is reportedly used as the main target of the sporting director, Fredik Arnesen.

Oenning himself fired as judged incompetent to handle Hamburg. From 6 appearances in the Bundesliga club arena nicknamed the new Rothosen points and grabbed a kernel of a caretaker in the standings.

After the death Oenning, Hamburg has not appointed a new coach. However, Arnesen is reportedly seeking the arrival of Van Basten.

Van Basten himself did in fact been targeted by Hamburg since the beginning of the season. But for one reason or another, a plan to bring the Dutch football legend was nevertheless carried out and the club that was founded 123 years ago it decided to use the services of Oenning.

Reported by Speigel, Tuesday, September 20, 2011, the issue of salary is believed to be a stumbling block in the process of hiring Van Basten. Meanwhile, several other candidates who are also already included in the list include Bernd Schuster and Huub Stevens.
